out of sorts

Maxxie got the part. Of course, he had to play "Sharpay's" brother Ryan in High School Musical.

"Shit." Could it get any worse, Maxxie had decided.

"Its a start." Sketch told him. "You have to start somewhere."

"Yeah, I know." He wanted to thank her but couldn't. He wished he could go home and fuck Tony's brains out, but he knew that wouldn't happen, either.

"So will you celebrate?" Sketch walked with him through the plaza. Naturally, he found himself walking her home. He didn't feel he had a home with his place out of sort.

"Dunno." Maxxie shrugged.

"You should." She smiled.

"No, I don't feel up to it."

"I want to be with you, Maxxie." She pleaded with him.

"Um, don't you get that I'm gay. We've been through this before." He squinted, hoping she never touched him. Never.

"I know, but if we did everything - you know - gay-"

"Sketch! What do you not get! NO." Maxxie shivered just thinking about it.

"Think about it?" She called to him as he walked away.

"Believe me, I will never think about it." Didn't she know, she meant nothing to him.

He raced home then just to find a note left on the mattress in the their barren fortress.

Dearest Maxxie,

Gone home for a bit.

toodles.

"Toodles?" Maxxie wadded it up and tossed it toward the trash. The whole place was trashed in fact.

He sat down on the mattress and began to have himself a good long cry.

actually, I did it this way with all the photos I see of them comparing Mitch and Lucas. Also Mitch had to take a role very similar to high school musical right now in the UK..its possibly a bit more like Fame, but it got its initial idea from high school musical. & the fact they totally wiped his "maxxie" character completely by making the dude undye his hair and putting in a curly perm. Granted he's got a straight role now which might have been something he wanted anyway..on top of that he's got a castmate in a rather Maxxie hairstyle now. Go figure. I just wanted to show "the hardship" of being in a 'show' fiction or not. You don't always get what you want...not even with Tony.
